Volunteering
The Museum always needs new volunteers. We would appreciate you joining us.
We have a number of volunteers participating in various roles such as:
- Financial administration
- Reception
- Database update
- Research
- Maintenance of grounds and buildings
- Cleaning
- Curatorial assistance
- Construction of display components
- Photography
- Conservation of artefacts
- Conservation of HMAS Townsville
- Venue hire coordination

Before receiving the downloadable volunteer application form we normally conduct a short interview to get to know your skills and expertise and let you know about our needs and requirements.
